Details of 1 Day Budongo Chimpanzee Trekking at Budongo Forests
Wake up as early as possible and leave kampala at 6 am. Drive to Kaniyo Pabidi – Budongo Forest for about 4 hours. Along the way you will see lots of fabulous picture opportunities as driving say, hills, plantations, community and much more. Arrive at Kaniyo Pabidi Budongo Forest and then have lunch.
After Lunch enter the forest to start off the Chimpanzee tracking in the original Mahogany Forest. The Chimps are not tame, but simply also used to having humans near them; so you come and see them up close. Afterward tracking, return to Kampala by 7 pm; a full day, but well worth it and a most rewarding experience.
