5 Days Gorilla Tracking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park safari gives those who take the 8-hour climb – hike up and back some of the best views around – taking in the Virunga Volcanoes, Lake Edward and Lake George in Queen Elizabeth Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the Rwenzori Mountains – simply amazing views for the tallest of the Mufumbiro Mountains, the Virunga Volcanoes.
Mount Gahinga, Gahinga means a pile of stones and you will find piles of stones in the gardens and farms below Mount Gahinga that the people clear from their fields and put into piles at the edge of their fields. Mount Gahinga is not a little stone but being a neighbour to Mount Muhavura it is a little brother; and Mount Muhavura, (Mount Muhabura) means “the guide” because it is seen from far and wide and stands like a beacon, a point reference for, simply the Guide.
Arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be welcomed by one of our driver guide who will transfer you to your lodge

After your breakfast, you will be met by one of our driver guide, who will brief you about the 5 Days Gorilla Tracking Bwindi Impenetrable National Park safari and then after drive heading south-western uganda.you will have a stopover at the equator where there’s a large group of the local community popular for making drums and crafts and a fruit market. Admire and buy yourselves, souvenirs. Proceed to the Equator line taken as one beautiful scenery in Africa the pathway of the sun and take photographs.
Continue to drive to drive up to Mbarara and have a stopover for lunch en-route. Continue to the scenic drive to Kabale town, also known as the ‘Switzerland of Africa’. Later proceed to Bwindi
Accommodation: Gorilla Safari Lodge
After breakfast, head to the ranger station, gather at the respective park headquarters for briefing in the morning where you are also allocated the respective gorilla families to track which may last the entire day. Enter the rainforests accompanied by a guide and trackers, in search of the magnificent silverbacks. Gorilla tracking is unpredictable. it’s difficult to foresee how many hours you will hike. Upon approaching gorillas. So in the evening, chill at the lodge grounds or have a community walk and visit the local Batwa or the Bakiga that live around the park. They have magical songs and dancing styles which definitely make your evening colourful.
There are three most challenging peaks – the views are well worth it simply amazing. There is some ladder climbing as you venture up and are able to step into the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and back into Uganda all without your passport being stamped. You walk mostly through dense vegetation but the dense vegetation is exactly what makes this mountain so attractive. This hike consists of climbing 3 peaks; that is to say, Mount Gahinga, Mount Muhavura.
After breakfast, Check-out and head back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara for a delicious lunch and at the Equator to take pictures then proceed to Kampala or Entebbe Airport for your outbound flight depending on your flight schedule.
